Peak builds games to 'challenge your brain'. Designing such games is a little different to making games for pure entertainment. Whilst ensuring an enjoyable experience, we always need to be mindful of the science behind everything we do. We need to be quantitatively driven and as transparent about performance results as we can. In this talk, we'll share precisely how we do this day-to-day, combining data science with design thinking.
We hear a lot about data driven design and product management, but what kind of data are we actually looking at and how does that help us decide what to test? At Peak – Brain Training, the development process is influenced by data, human-centred design, science and fun. These are the building blocks that helped us build a product that has been downloaded more than 40 million times and win countless awards. For a glimpse into this approach, join us as we discuss our recent redesign of the First Time User Experience.
